We have reserved some block bookings in these three backpackers/hotel because they are downtown, affordable, close together, across the road from the waterfront, the supermarket, restaurants and most of the events. It is also nice to be staying in the same accomodation as other unicyclists. They are sponsoring Unicon, so please book them in preference:

We do not intend on booking classrooms as with the previous Unicon, as it would not be much cheaper. December-January is the low-season for Wellington, so there is plenty of accomodation available. Please book directly with the above accomodation providers.

YHA from $27pp share to Premium of $110 (in US dollars at the moment that will be US$14 – US$55)
Base from $27 pp to $96 with private balcony (in US dollars US$14 – US$48)
Bay Plaza from $120 which includes continental breakfast – Deluxe $270 (in US dollars US$61 – US$137)
